E Barry Gibb, que virou meme por causa de Glastonbury?
Lembra daquela velha piada sobre o sujeito que foi a um show do Black Sabbath e voltou elogiando a banda porque eles “tocaram um cover do Faith No More”? No caso, a música é War pigs, gravada pelo Sabbath em 1970 e, duas décadas depois, relida pelo FNM.
Aconteceu quase o mesmo com uma mulher chamada Rachel Burns, que assistiu ao show de Barry Gibb (único integrante dos Bee Gees vivo) no festival de Glastonbury neste domingo (25). Em 75 minutos de apresentação, ele mergulhou na parte funda da piscina do repertório de seu grupo, com vários hits. Rachel resolveu fazer um comentário irônico, mas muita gente achou que ela caiu no mesmo erro de escala do nosso amigo fã de Black Sabbath. Olha aí.

Do repertório dos Bee Gees, cada um desses artistas catou algumas músicas: o Take That gravou a baladinha How deep is your love, o Boyzone gravou Words, o Steps levou Tragedy. Todo mundo que é fã da banda sabe, e Rachel, pelo que ela contou, também sabia. Mas uma turma numerosa não levou nem um pouco na brincadeira as palavras de Rachel e mandou bala.
